“The bloody years of the Revolution have turned into mere words, theories, and discussions, have become lighter than feathers, frightening no one.”
When we battle against the evil extradition bill, against police force that becomes a weapon for a political mission, against Indiscriminate attacks on innocent people from triad thugs mobilised by the Chinese Government trying to create terror, while blood were shed and life was loss for this course, this verse in Milan Kundera’s “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” keep popping up in my mind.
Even if history keeps "returning", our life is just once. What we fight for now, the believes and principles that we carry, might became mere words in 500 years, became weightless, just like a war between two countries thousands of years ago, became a relic, a commodity.
